গাড়ির ক্রেতাসহ আগ্রহীদের প্রয়োজনীয় সেবা প্রদান এবং রিকন্ডিশন্ড গাড়ির অভ্যন্তরীণ বাজার উজ্জীবিত করার লক্ষ্যে পোর্টালটি বিশেষ সহায়ক হবে
বারভিডার (বাংলাদেশ রিকন্ডিশন্ড ভেহিক্যালস ইম্পোর্টার্স এন্ড ডিলার্স এসোসিয়েশন) অফিসিয়াল ওয়েব পোর্টাল (www.barvida.com.bd) উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে। সংগঠনের সকল সদস্যের প্রোফাইলসহ এ খাত সংশ্লিষ্ট প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্যসম্বলিত ওয়েব পোর্টালটি গতকাল বারভিডা কার্যালয়ে উদ্বোধন করা হয়। এসোসিয়েশনের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা প্রেসিডেন্ট এবং বর্তমান প্রেসিডেন্ট জনাব আবদুল হক কার্যনির্বাহী সদস্যবৃন্দের উপস্থিতিতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে পোর্টালটি উদ্বোধন করেন।
বারভিডা ওয়েবপোর্টাল এসোসিয়েশনের সকল সদস্য এবং গাড়ির ক্রেতা ও আগ্রহী ব্যক্তিদের সেবা প্রদানের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্ল্যাটফর্ম হিসেবে কাজ করবে বলে বারভিডা নেতৃবৃন্দ আশা প্রকাশ করেন। সদস্যবৃন্দের সকল তথ্য সংরক্ষণ করার সাথে সাথে এ খাতের প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্যসমূহ পরিবেশনে বারভিডা ওয়েব পোর্টাল যথাযথ ভূমিকা পালন করবে। এছাড়াও বারভিডার সদস্যপদের জন্য এখন থেকে পোর্টালের মাধ্যমে অনলাইনে আবেদন করা যাবে।
উল্লেখ্য যে, বারভিডা গত তিন দশকেরও বেশি সময় ধরে দেশের পরিবহন খাতে মোটরযান সরবরাহে সিংহভাগ অবদান রেখে আসছে। জাতীয়ভিত্তিক এই বাণিজ্য সংগঠনটিতে বর্তমানে প্রায় ৯০০ সদস্য প্রতিষ্ঠান রয়েছে। এ খাতে তাদের বিনিয়োগ প্রায় ২০ হাজার কোটি টাকা। বারভিডার সদস্য প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো সরকারকে বছরে কয়েক হাজার কোটি টাকা রাজস্ব প্রদান করে থাকে। এ খাতে প্রত্যক্ষ ও পরোক্ষভাবে লক্ষাধিক মানুষের কর্মসংস্থানের ব্যবস্থা হয়েছে।
বারভিডা সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ শহীদুল ইসলাম, ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট এস এম আনোয়ার সাদাত, মোহাঃ সাইফুল ইসলাম (স¯্রাট) ও মোঃ জসিম উদ্দিন মিন্টু এবং এসোসিয়েশনের কার্যনির্বাহী সদস্যবৃন্দ অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

BARVIDA webportal lanunched

Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) has launched its official web portal (www.barvida.com.bd) yesterday at a simple ceremony at BARVIDA office. Abdul Haque, the present and founding President of the association formally lanuched the portal.

The BARVIDA leaders hoped that the web portal will be a dynamic platform for all the members, the customers and concerned parties to provide all necessary information of country’s reconditioned vehicle sector. From now on the upcoming members could apply for membership online through the portal.
Here, it needs to mention that, BARVIDA has been contributing lion’s share in the country’s transport sector by supplying vehicles over the last more than 3 decades. Currently, around 900 enterprises under the BARVIDA membership are in operations across the country. The total investment in this sector is Tk 20,000 Crore. The enlisted BARVIDA member companies pay few crore taka as revenue to the Government in a year. Moreover, more than a lakh people are employed in this sector directly or indirectly.
BARVIDA Secretary General Mohammed Shahidul Islam, Vice Presidents S M Anowar Sadat, Mohd.Saiful Islam Samrat & Md. Jasim Uddin Mintu and other Executive Members of the association were present at the ceremony.
