ঢাকার শিল্পাঞ্চল তেজগাঁও-এ যমুনা ব্যাংক লিমিটেড এর ১৪০তম শাখার শুভ উদ্বোধন করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসাবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের স্থানীয় সরকার, পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায় মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় মন্ত্রী মোঃ তাজুল ইসলাম, এমপি। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ব্যাংকের চেয়ারম্যান ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোঃ আতিকুর রহমান, যমুনা ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশন ও যমুনা ব্যাংক নির্বাহী কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান আলহাজ্ব নূর মোহাম্মদ ও ব্যাংকের পরিচালক কানুতোষ মজুমদার। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যমুনা ব্যাংক এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও মির্জা ইলিয়াছ উদ্দিন আহম্মেদ। এছাড়া আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন ব্যাংকের উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ, আশপাশের শাখাসমূহের প্রধানগণসহ স্থানীয় গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গ এবং বিপুল সংখ্যক গ্রাহক।
140th branch of Jamuna Bank Limited was inaugurated in Tejgaon, an industrial area of Dhaka. Mr. Md. Tajul Islam, MP, Local Government of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Minister of Rural Development and Cooperatives was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. Engineer Md. Atiqur Rahman, Chairman of the Bank, Al Haj Nur Mohammed, Chairman of Jamuna Bank Foundation and Executive Committee of the Board and Kanutosh Majumder, Director of the Bank were present as special guests. Jamuna Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed presided over the program. Also present were the senior officials of the bank, the heads of the branches of the locality including local dignitaries and a large number of customers.
