রোটারিয়ান মোঃ আশরাফুজ্জামান নান্নু এবং রোটারিয়ান ইবরাহীম খলিল আল-জায়েদ পিনাক রোটারি ইন্টারন্যাশনাল জেলা-৩২৮১ বাংলাদেশের গভর্নর নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। গত শনিবার ১৯ মার্চ ২০২২ ঢাকায় বিআইসিসি সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রে রোটারির কেন্দ্রীয় সম্মেলনে এ নির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
জনাব নান্নু ২০২৩-২৪ এবং জনাব পিনাক ২০২৪-২৫ সেশনে রোটারি গভর্নরের দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন। উল্লেখ্য, রোটারি গভর্ণরদের মেয়াদকালের দুই বছরে পূর্বেই তারা গণতান্ত্রিকভাবে নির্বাচিত হন।

তিনি অ্যাকসেঞ্চার ডেভেলপার লিঃ এর ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টরসহ বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। তিনি একজন বিশিষ্ট কর
উপদেষ্টা, নেহলিন ট্রেড ইন্টারন্যাশনাল, ভিশন ফাউন্ডেশন, রোটা শেল লিঃ, নেক্সজেন লিঃ এর পরিচালক এবং অনেক সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে জড়িত রয়েছেন।

তিনি ব্যাংক অব নিউ মেক্সিকোর মাধ্যমে কর্ম জীবন শুরু করেন এবং ট্যাক্সাসের ডেল কম্পিউটারসহ বিভিন্ন আর্ন্তজাতিক কোম্পানীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। বর্তমানে তিনি ন্যাশনাল কন্সট্রাকশন কোম্পানী লি. এর ডিরেক্টর, দু’টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ফ্যাকাল্টি মেম্বার হিসেবে কর্মরত আছেন এবং বিভিন্ন সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে জড়িত রয়েছেন।
Md. Ashrafuzzaman Nannu and Ibrahim Khalil Piank elected Governor of Rotary
Rotarian Md. Ashrafuzzaman Nannu and Rotarian Ibrahim Khalil Al-Zayed Pinak have been elected Governor of Rotary International District-3281 Bangladesh. The election was held at central conference of Rotary at the BICC conference center in Dhaka on Saturday yesterday.
Mr. Nannu will be the Rotary Governor for the session of 2023-24 and Mr. Pinak will be the Rotary Governor for the session 2024-25. Noted that, the election of Rotary Governor usually held two years before the term of the Governor.
The newly elected Governor Mr. Nannu is the representative of Dhaka Dynamic Rotary. He is Managing Director of Accenture Developers Ltd. He is a prominent tax advisor, Director of Nehlin Trade International, Vision Foundation, Rota Shell Ltd. and NexGen Ltd. Mr. Nannu involved with various social and cultural organizations.
The other newly elected Governor Mr. Pinak is a representative of Dhaka Mohanagor Rotary. He started his career through the Bank of New Mexico and held important positions in various international companies, including Dell Computer in Texas. He is currently the Director of National Construction Company Ltd. and an adjunct faculty member of two universities.
